The Culinary Arts Workshops goal is to provide a foundation for students to expand their knowledge of food, cooking, and baking. Our Chef and other guests from the food and hospitality industry will discuss career paths from their own real-world experiences.
Prerequisite: All students must have completed the proper paperwork for participation and have a signed release waiver on file for participation.
Chef will discuss proper food safety and kitchen sanitation at the beginning of each workshop. Basic knife skills training is available by permission only.
How: Students will learn the skills needed to make each meal on our list. Chef will supervise all workshops and students.
All classes conclude with students able to enjoy the food they have learned to prepare that day.
Content: Regular participants in the workshops learn to cook the foods on the menu and successfully learn kitchen safety and sanitation. Chef will work with these students to plan future menus.
